At the time of her deportation on 31 December 1942 Esther de Vries lived in Appingedam on the De Haas Okkenstraat 14. She was brought to Westerbork, but returned in Appingedam for uknown reasons on 17 February 1943.
Shortly afterwards she was deported again.
