Bloeme Speijer was first married to Jacob Gokkes, who died in 1887. She had two children with him. She then married Benjamin Lipman de Vries (1857-1920) with whom she had another six children.

Bloeme Speijer died in the train to Auschwitz. She had two sons who survived the war with their familes.
