About IJsaäc Vleeschdraager

IJsaäc Vleeschdraager first was a diamond cutter and later a salesman in photographic supplies. He was a very good amateur photographer. When there was not enough work in the diamond industry, he made a hobby out of his profession. His wife Jaantje Vleeschdraager-Luteraan was a daughter of Eduard Luteraan and Aaltje Stibbe. As a young girl she was placed in the Central Jewish Orphanage in Utrecht, together with a sister and a brother. Because she could learn very well, she was allowed to study to be a teacher.
The couple had a married son Eduard Isaäc Vleeschdraager, who lived at a different address.
