Levie Moscoviter was the son of Salomon Moscoviter and Marianne Pach. He was first married to Louisa Davidson. From this marriage two children were born: Marianne and Jacob. After his first spous had passed away, Levie Moscoviter married Esther Silas in 1932. The couple had one more child, Freddy.

Levie Moscoviter lived at 18 Zeestraat in Zandvoort. The list of Jewish firms that the municipal authorities of Zandvoort sent the Wirtschaftsprüfstelle on 26 July 1941 indicates that he owned a clothing shop at that address.
