Leentje (Lena) de Winter married Hendrik Salomon Bosman on 23 January 1919. The couple had one daughter, Grietje.
In 1942 the family tried to reach the (relative) savety of Vichy-France. They were arrested in occupied France. First they were held at the prison in Orleans. Later they were sent to the Pithiviers transit camp. Only a few days later, on 7 August 1942, the mother and daughter were deported to Achschwitz on transport no. 16. Hendrik Bosman had been deported the day before.
