Stijntje Lusse was a communist. She was arrested for not wearing the compulsory Jewish Star on her clothes. From the policestation Haagsche Veer she was brought in October 1942 to Scheveningen prison, together with six other women, all with the remark: "für Ravensbrück - for Ravensbrück"). From Scheveningen, Stijntje Lusse was brought to camp Ravensbrück and presumably there she lost her life. There has been found no evidence that Stijntje ever was in Camp Westerbork.
