Samuel Juliard was married to a non-Jewish woman. The couple did not have any children. Samuel Juliard and his wife were both violinists. Samuel was concertmaster of the Italian opera in The Hague for some time, after which he worked as a violinist on the radio. His wife was known as a violinist by the name of 'Nina Dolce'.
During the war, the couple took members of Samuel’s family into their home, to live there in hiding. All those who were living in hiding there and Samuel Juliard himself were arrested and deported in late 1942 or early 1943.
