Jozeph Jacobs was a son of Lion Jacobs and Mietje Ossendrijver. Hij married in Rotterdam on 15 October 1924 to Catharina Johanna Petronella van Lier, a daughter of Cornelis van Lier and Alberta Anna Hoksteen. Jozeph's spouse has survived the war. jozeph Jacobs remarried in September 1934. He divorced from his second wife in March 1942. Also his second wife survived the war.
