Rebecca Lijmer was a daughter of Wolf Lijmer and Rosette Swaap. She married Izaak Theeboom in Amsterdam on 23 January 1929, a son of Philip Theeboom and Catharina Voorzanger. With Izaak, she had three children: Philip, Rosette and Wolf. Togehter with Rebecca, her children were killed in Auschwitz on 27 November 1942. Her husband Izaak Theeboom lost his life "somewhere" in Mid-Europe on 31 March 1944.
