Comprecht Cohen was born in Delfzijl as son of Levie Cohen and Frouwke de Jonge. He married in Groningen at age 27 Rebekka Polak, age 24, a daughter of Levie Polak, shop keeper and Elisabeth Kuijper. As far as has been researched, this couple had no children. Comprecht was a teacher, just as his father.
In 1908, Comprecht was registered in the Peoples Registry in Den Haag, previously resided in ’s-Gravezande. Per 14 August 1914, their address was Fahrenheitstraat 371, from where they were both deported to Camp Westerbork 24 October 1942.
Notes on the registration card of the Jewish Council of Comprecht Cohen show, that both were seriously ill; they had a medical certificatie about their deseases. However, this could not prevent that two days later, 26 October 1942 they were both put on transport to Auschwitz, where upon arrival 29 October 1942 they have been immediately killed.
