Frouke Cohen was a daughter of Comprecht Cohen from Delfzijl (Prov. Groningen) and Sara (Saartje) Blok from Kuinre (Steenwijkerland) (Prov. Overijssel). She was unmarried. Frouke was born into a family with five children, of whom one child died, two days old. Her brother Levie died in Groningen City on 17 March 1943 during the years of prosecution by the nazis. Her brother Salomon passed already in 1926 and about her sister Rachel is nothing further known. Frouke Cohen self was killed in Sobibor, aged 81, on 20 March 1943.
