Emmanuel Bont, tailor, was born in Antwerp op on 17 March 1925 as son of Meijer Bont and Susanna Bromet. He was unmarried. Except in Antwerp, he also has lived with his parents in Berchem and Deurne, but returned to Amsterdam in 1930 and in 1938 he lived at Schalkburgerstraat 38 groundfloor.
Emmanuel has been registered already on 15 July 1942 in Camp Westerbork where he stayed one week, before being deported to Auschwitz on 21 July 1942. On 30 September 1942 he lost his life there.
