Ruth Vera Arndt Joachimsthal was a daughter of Georg Joachimsthal and Marie Grünzweig. She was born in 1919 in Berlijn and was married to Werner Jakob Arndt, 16 October 1939 she arrived in Holland but was imprisoned 4 April 1940 in Camp Westerbork, together with her husband. She too was deported with the 1st trandport from Camp Westerbork to Auschwitz. Upon arrival she was not immediately killed; her date of death has been established as 30 September 1942.
