My grandfather Johannes (Jo) Scheffer was awarded the Yad Vashem "righteous amongst nations" on november 11th 2019, thanks to the recommendation of Fanny Fuks-Weisblum and Alfred Witsenhuysen. We now of more jewish refugees hosted by Jo and his wife Sophie Scheffer-Witsenhuijsen in their house in Blaricum, Professor van Reeslaan or in families nearby (Blaricum, Eemnes), at a house in Amsterdam on Stadhouderskade (with his mother Henriette Scheffer-Kok). In particular we are looking for a dentist who lived in hiding in the attic of the Blaricum house (who built a boot "botter" from wood, while in hiding). We are also looking for a men who give a silver table set marked "IS" after the war.
