Buchenwald

From 1937 Germans who had been politically active against the Nazi regime were interned at this camp in Weimar and assigned forced labour. Jehovah‘s witnesses, homosexuals and criminals were also sent here, as well as Jews, Roma and Sinti from areas under Nazi occupation later on.
