About Henri Halberstadt

Henri Halberstadt was an office clerk. He got married in 1941.
He wrote poetry during the war and was one of the publishers of the illegal magazine Rattekruid. As a member of the resistance, he helped out Jews in hiding. On 15 March 1943, he took part in the attack with explosives on the railway between Amsterdam and Haarlem and he gave logistical support to the attack on 27 March 1943 on the Amst…
