Bennekom, August 8th, 1940
Dear Mister Wijsenbeek,
On behalf of all the children I would like to tell you what a great time we are having here in Bennekom. The house here is beautiful. We have a very diverse day-schedule because we play korfball, we cycle, play tabletennis and go for walks. The lady takes care that we have never been bored. Today we made a rather big bicycle tour to Arnhem to go shopping with the mister. If we are not going for a bicycle tour we have fun at home. For korfball we have two teams, blue and red. Ik write blue first because I am with the blue team. On shabbat we went to Panorama Hoeve, that was also very beautiful.
