My name is Renée Eve Levie, I am 67 years old, and live in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
My parents were Kurt Levie, born 04/11/1902, in Marburg, and Erna (née) Goldberg, born 11/08/1908, in Frankfurt a/M). My brother's name was (in Germany) Hans Günther Levie; later (in France) it was changed to Jean Levie.
My father was deported from France (Drancy, Paris) to the Baltic States in 1944, were he was killed by the Nazis.
My mother mentioned that her in-laws (my grandparents), the Levies, were Dutch and that they had three sons: Helmut, Rolf and Kurt, and that they (my grandparents) returned to the Netherlands during the Nazi occupation, and from there were deported to a KZ. Unfortunately, these are all the details I have.
I was wondering if Rolf Walter Levie could be the same Rolf Levie mentioned above, i.e., my father's brother.
