Er is altijd vanuit gegaan dat Minni samen met haar moeder en broertje op 3 september zou zijn vermoord in Auschwitz. Dit blijkt echter niet zo te zijn, getuige de onderstaande informatie die ik uit Auschwitz ontving. Minni is gestorven op 18 september 1942.

In reply to your enquiry the Auschwitz–Birkenau State Museum in Oswiecim would like to inform you that in partially saved records which are kept in our Archives there are the following data about below-mentioned prisoner:
LIEVENDAG Mini Rozette born in March 20, 1924 in Den Haag was prisoner of KL Auschwitz. Date of deportation and her prisoners’ number is unknown. On September 18, 1942 she died in KL Auschwitz II-Birkenau.

The State Museum would like to explain the position of prisoner records from KL Auschwitz.
During the liquidation of KL Auschwitz, the camp authorities ordered the destruction of important documents including prisoner records and files.
The State Museum therefore holds only partial records of prisoners imprisoned at KL Auschwitz.
