According to Yad Vashem testimony from his nephew, Siegmund B. was a medical doctor. According to the address books, he lived till the mid 1930s in Berlin-Schöneberg in Habsburgerstr. 13 with his parents. His father Fritz is listed at this address in the 1931 Jewish Addressbook of Berlin, but by 1933 his mother, Klara Binasch nee Wiener is listed as a widow.
