Gisela and Julius Spicker

Gisela and her brother Julius came to the Netherlands on November 28th, 1938. Both of them lived in many different homes for refugees.
Julius was training to become a baker.
Their parents were divorced: after the divorce the children took their mother's name, Spicker.
Their mother was Johanna Spicker, born on November 7th, 1906 in Königsberg: their father was Georg Schlabowski or Schlabowsky, born on April 12th 1898 in Köningsberg.
Both parents had remarried and were deported.
