Walter, Herbert and Kurt Sander

Walter, Kurt, Herbert and their sister came to the Netherlands on December 16th, 1938. They stayed in the Rivierenhuis in de Steeg, and at several addresses in The Hague, amongst others with the Wieselthier couple. From May 1940 they lived with families in The Hague, and Herbert went to the orphanage in that city in November 1942, because his foster parents were deported.
The mother was Hertha Röttgen, born in 1897 in Sprockhoövel, father Max was born in 1892 in Rees. They were deported to Riga in 1941.
The sister survived and went to Israel.
