Werner Meier Strauss

Werner Meier came to the Netherlands with a Kindertransport on January 4th, 1939. First he stayed at the Zeehuis in Bergen aan Zee, after that in Driebergen, Rotterdam and Arnhem.
His mother Mathilde Lilienfeld, was deported with unknown destination, his father Albrecht, a beer brewer, died in the Jewish hospital in Hannover in January 1940. His older brother Karl went to the US on time.
