Ida Bachenheimer- Poons

Ida Bachenheimer is my Grandmother. She was born in Germany, married David Frankenthal who died in 1921, and had two children, one of them was my mother. My mother married in Holland and lived in the mentioned address. Before the war started my dutch grandparents convinced an old Jewish bachelor called Poons to go to Germany and marry her in order to allow her to come to Holland. This gave her 4 or 5 more years to live until she was deported to Sobibor in 1943.
