Mathilda Roos was born on the 14-11-1926 in Medan Indonesia. My grandfather Mozes Roos and my grandmother Sara Roos returned to Holland because my grandmother had Open TBC. At home nobody spoke about the War and when my mother died she took many secrets with her. The only thing I know about her is that she went to school in The Hague on a Jewish school near the Gedemte Burgwal and before that she went to to Primary school in Middelharnis, situated on the Zandpad. She was 15 years when she went in hiding with her 2 brothers. It was 10 to 15 minutes from the place Maarn in Friesland on the bicycle. She also got her diploma as a Psychiatric nurse. When we were very young she was taken away for 8 months and we stayed with foster parents for that time. I don't remember any thing of this period it is like having a lot of black pages in my life. She never spoke about her life or her family. I do hope people can help me find the missing puzzle pieces of her life.
