Käthe Leo, née Cohn, was the daughter of Georg Leo (born 17 June 1872) and his wife Martha, née Rechnitz.
Marcus Leo, veteran of First World War, and Käthe, had been living in Karlsruhe, Germany and later in Berlin before they immigrated to Holland on 11 October 1938.
Marcus, born 24 May 1893 in Schönlanke, was the son of Louis and Mathilde Cohn, née Rothschild; Marcus’ siblings were Alfred, Georg, Käte, Max, Lina, Martha, Moritz, Regina Lippmann, née Cohn, and Henriette Mielzynski, née Cohn.
