Yve Delaquis, daughter of Jo A. Jacobsthal

I was born in Amsterdam as the 2nd child of Jo(achim) Jacobsthal and Corry (Cornelia) van Essen, after their first son, Lawrence, had died shortly after birth. I studied in Fribourg and in Zurich, was once married to Eric Delaquis (17 years older than I) and have no children - a personal choice. I still live in ZH.
I have a one-year younger sister, Helen Antigone, also born in Amsterdam (one girl of twins: the other baby died before birth), married to Swiss German Franz Schenker and mother of three: Xaver, Lea and Cyril; they live some 20 min. away from me.
