Henri de Metz en zijn broer Jacques-Marcel de Metz hebben getracht naar Zwitserland te ontkomen.
Hun laatste verblijfsplaats in Frankrijk was Besançon.
Zij werden beiden uit Drancy gedeporteerd met Transport 40 op 04-11-1942 naar Auschwitz.
