Great Niece of Baruch Splitter

I am I. (Ingrid) Maxine Marcus, and I am the grand daughter of Israel (Isidore) Splitter. My first name, Ingrid, is for Isidore, who perished in the Sjoa. Isidore/Israel's wife was Irene Bernholc-Splitter and she was my Oma, and their daughter was Stella Splitter-Marcus, who was my Mom. Irene and Stella survived the war and returned to the Hague and worked in the Hoogstraat Splitter Freres store, until one day they were informed that my Opa Isidore/Israel had not survived. They then decided to emigrate to the US, which they did in 1949. My mother Stella met my father Hank Marcus there and they were married in 1955, and I was born in 1970. I have now moved back to the Netherlands where i live in the Hague with my husband and 3 children. My husband Ira Goldberg has become a Rabbi ordained by the Levisson Institute and I feel that my family has come full circle to rebuild our Jewish family in my ancestral home of the Netherlands. I would love to be in touch with other members of the family. I am in touch with the descendants of the branch of the Splitters who went to Australia, who would also like to be in touch.
