The year was 1943. The place was Amsterdam, Holland. Europe was torn apart by a Nazi regime, intended to reign a thousand years. Sonja and Herman were twenty years old, newly married and madly in love. They knew no fear and were optimistic about he future. They thought they were going to work for a few months and come back. Instead, Herman was killed and Sonja came back with a story.
