Richard and his wife Edith lived at Giesebrechtstr. 17 in Berlin-Charlottenburg prior to emigrating to Holland at the end of 1938. Their son Joachim (b. 1915) and his wife Annemarie (b. 1920) emigrated from Rotterdam to New York in 1939. Their further fate in the USA is unknown. I would appreciate any further information about Joachim and Annemarie Hecht.
Joachim (Joel Joachim Hecht) and Annemarie Hecht (Amy Moss - nee Hecht) were siblings not spouses.
Joel Joachim Hecht was my grandfather.
He lived initially in Chicago, Illinois before moving to Buffalo, New York. In Buffalo he met and married Erica Hecht nee Heymann. They had two daughters and moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 1977. Joel Joachim Hecht passed away in November of 2008. He was survived by his wife Erica, daughters Diane and Jacquieline, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
