Sara Blitz

At age 11, Sara, along with the other young children were sent to Joods Meisjes-Weeshuis, as her father was dying and mother couldn't take care of them all. She later worked as a seamstress until the birth of her daughter Schoonje. She gave her baby daughter to her sister Nathalie to be taken into hiding with her older sister Rebecca. Schoonje (Nettie), survived the war, married, had a family and lives in California.
