Froukje de Swaan married Karel Frankenhuis in 1909. He passed away in 1929. Froukje and Karel had four children, of which two resided at home and two had their own families. Two children survived the war. Son David Frankenhuis, who lived in Amsterdam, perished during the war. The entire family Frankenhuis was deported from Enschede in September 1942.
