Peter Julius Franz Alkan

Peter and his father Paul Alkan lived at Prinzregentenstr. 81 in Berlin-Wilmersdorf before emigrating to Berlin in the 1930s. Paul Alkan was born in 1888 in Coburg and died in 1964, still residing at Rubensstraat 12 in Amsterdam. (Bundesarchiv Gedenkbuch, Jewish Addressbook Berlin 1931, Amsterdam City Archives Card Files)

We have been unable to determine whether one or more members of this family survived the war. While their names do not appear on the lists of survivors, we have not been able to trace them in In Memoriam either. They are therefore labeled as 'surviving' and their names are not listed.
