Branca Philips

Branca Philips stayed in hiding with a family in Baarn. A child of the family remembers Branca and her sister spinning wool in one of the bedrooms in the house of his parents. "The sweaters that were made out of this wool were meant to earn their upkeep." Due to treachery Branca and the seven other Jews who stayed in hiding at the same address were arrested by three people from the SD in 1942.

Nathan Philips and Heintje Krant had six children. The two eldest children, Bloeme and Aaltje, were married and resided at another address. The other children still lived with their parents. One child survived the war.
