Liesel came to the Netherlands on January 22nd, 1939. She stayed in many facilities for refugee children, and moved in with a family in October 1940.
Her parents were Paula Weinberg, born in 1892 in Liebenau, and Andreas, born in 1892 in Hubert. Both pf them perished in Riga according to the Gedenkbuch.
