German Residence and Family members

Ernst Adam was married to Rosa Karafiol (born 1908 in Warsaw) in 1931 in Wupperthal, Germany. Their daughter Felicitas Adams was born in 1932 in Wupperthal. The family moved at some point thereafter to Diemen, NL, then in June 1936 to Amsterdam. Ernst and Rosa were divorced in 1942. (Persoonskaarten, Stadsarchief Amsterdam) All three people are listed in the German Federal Archive "Residents' List" in the USHMM in Washington DC as having been Jewish. Felicitas emigrated via Southampton to New York, USA in July 1947. At that time her mother was still alive in Holland (New York Passenger Lists, ancestry.com)
