Bloeme was a daughter of cigar maker Jacob Meijer Keijzer of Amsterdam, and his wife Roosjie Samuel Kijzer. Her parents married in Amsterdam in 1856 and went to America. She was born in the city of Philadelphia, USA on 03 July 1867.
Bloeme was the sister of Meijer, Abraham, Elisabeth, and Matilda Kijzer. She returned to Amsterdam where she married diamond cutter Isaac Polak, the son of Mozes Polak and Rebecca van der Horst on 08 March 1888.
