Abraham Schrijver was a son of Philip Schrijver and Marianne Koster. Abraham had also a brother David and a sister Rebecca.
He married in Amsterdam on 26 January 1911 to Esther Ensel, daughter of Andries Ensel and Aaltje Schrijver. The couple had one son Philip, who survived the Holocaust.
