Benjamin Theodoor Meyers studied medicine in Amsterdam, where he sat for his medical finals on 13 November 1940. He took his PhD degree in Amsterdam on 19 December 1941 at the Faculty of Medicine for his thesis on Cancer deaths in the Netherlands.
Benjamin Theodoor Meyers was a non-residential registrar at the Nederlands-Israëlitisch Ziekenhuis. He lived at 80 Euterpestraat in Amsterdam.
Benjamin Theodoor Meyers was caught in Rotterdam on 21 March 1942 while trying to escape to England and was transferred to the house of detention on the Weteringschans in Amsterdam via the Haagse Veer police station.
