A certificate of circumcision signed by the mohel M. Winkel on 29 September 1918 remains for David Hamburger. There is also a menu from the banquet in honour of his bar mitzvah, as well as a photograph of the bar mitzvah boy.
David Hamburger was the son of Bernard Hamburger. He was a manufacturer. He was unmarried and lived at 106 Willem de Zwijgerlaan in The Hague. On 28 March 1943 David Hamburger died at Vught concentration camp.
