Aron Lisser was a son of David Lisser and Rosa de Hond. He married in Amsterdam on 5 August 1936 Rebecca Franschman, a daughter of David Franschman and Rebecca Cohenno. After their marriage, the couple lived at Valkenburgerstraat 85 in Amsterdam, were 3 January 1939 their son David was born. 10 June 1940 the family moved to Tilanusstraat 65 3rd floor, from where they were fetched out of their house and transferred to Westerbork, were they were locked in at barack 63. 1 June the family was put on transport to Sobibor where all were killed immediately on arrival there 4 June 1943.

Aron Lisser was interrogated at the Singel police station on 5 May 1933 because in the evening of 28 April he had deliberately tried to run over WA commandant Deterts on his motorcycle.
