Coenraad Huijsman was a son of Machiel Huijsman and Jacomina Frankfort. He married 13 May 1922 in Borgerhout (Belgium) a non-Jewish woman, from whom he was divorced 10 February 1940. Coenraad remarried 28 March 1940 in Amsterdam Anna Veffer, a daughter of Andries Veffer and Rachel Halverstad. She has survived the war.
Three of Coenraad’s siblings have been killed in the Shoah too: Clara, Leman and Hartog. One brother survived the Holocaust.
