Louis Frank was a son of Hartog Frank and Grietje van der Kar. He married 11 October 1933 in Amsterdam to Hendrika van de Kar, a daughter of Gompert van de Kar and Rachel Tas.
Louis had another sister Marie and two brothers, David and Salomon, who also have been killed during the Holocaust.
