About Reina Bosboom-van de Kar

Reina van de Kar was a daughter of Hartog Isaac van de Kar and Mariana Eliazer van Collem. She married 30 September 1874 in Amsterdam to Andries Bosboom, a son of Salomon Moses Bosboom and Annaatje Barend Kroese. Andries Bosboom passed away in 1935 and has been interred in the Jewish Cemetery in Diemen.
Reina van de Kar and Andries Bosboom had a family with nine children, of whom two children have died at a very young age; one daughter has emigrated whith her husband after they got married, to N.O. Indie (Dutch East Indies) but the other children, Salomon, Marianne, Anna, Hartog, Eliazer en Grietje, did not survive the Holocaust.
