Sara de Vries was a daughter of Machiel de Vries and Leentje de Haan. She married 11 March 1909 in Amsterdam to Isaac Hartog, son of Joseph Hartog and Matje Grishaver.
Isaac Hartog however passed away on 15 July 1937 and the interment was at the Jewish Cemetery in Diemen on 16 July 1937.
Isaac and Sara runned a perfume shop named "Maison Eau d'Or" at Linnaeusstraat 213 in Amsterdam.
The couple had only one son: Joseph and after the death of her husband, Sara moved to the address of the family of her son.
