Samuel Louis Cohen, accountant by profession, was a son of Louis Samuel Cohen and Clara van Dam. He married Frieda Gerson from (Bad) Sobernheim (Germany) and had two daughters with her: Rose Clara, born in Brussels in 1911 and Betty, born in Den Haag in 1914. About Rose Clara, who was married to Salomon de Vries from Rotterdam, is futher nothing known. Presumably they both might have survived the Holocaust. His daughter Betty, married to David Samuel Polak, has been killed toghether with her husband in Auschwitz on 23 September 1943. He self and his wife Frida were killed on 14 May 1943 in Sobibor.
