Wiegman wrote: 'On 7 September 1944, a house at the Spinnersweg in Hengelo was raided. The SD had been tipped off about Jews hiding out on the premises. The Nazis arrested Jeanette Meyers-Spier from Hengelo, Herman van Coevorden from Rotterdam and Eduard Denneboom from Enschede.
