What were the circumstances of his death?

Erwin Cohn (born 19.10.1925 in Berlin) emigrated in 1938 with his family from Berlin, Germany, where they resided at Detmolder Str. 55 in Berlin-Wilmersdof. His father Alfred (*1884-1949) was a moneylender and a merchant. Alfred and his wife Anna Cohn-Maier (*1894-1979) managed to avoid deportation survived the war. Erwin died in Amsterdam on 04.12.1943.
