Betje Groenstad was the widow of Jochem Emanuel van Praag (1861-1924) and a mother of seven children, one of them was Klara Glasbeek-van Praag. When Betje – as a woman of the age of 81 - was taken out of the old people’s home by the Nazis in 1942, she protested vehement.
